Sofía y sus primeros churros

Sofia enters a small churros shop. It is very hot. The shop is full of colors and feels cheerful. There are many people there. There is a soft, sweet smell of dough and sugar.

She looks at the sign with the options: churros with sugar, churros with chocolate, churros with cinnamon, and hot chocolate. The colors shine in the glass.

She counts them: one, two, three, four. She feels a little nervous. It is her first hot chocolate with churros in Spain.

The seller smiles. Sofia speaks slowly. “I want churros and hot chocolate, please.” She raises two fingers. The seller smiles and prepares a plate.

He gives her the plate. “Two euros, please,” he says. Sofia pays. “Thank you,” she says. There is joy on her face. She takes the plate and feels proud. She tries the churros with chocolate. They are very tasty.
