At reception, they count the people in the room. With the list, they check who is waiting, and the woman asks everyone to stay calm. A worker picks up the trash and the hallway is clean; I watch the door in silence.

Then they fix the lock and remove the error. A worker from the construction team puts signs with the direction to each room on walls and doors. The signs are in English and in French; I follow an arrow and find my space without a problem.

The doctor comes back and asks about the pain. Now my body feels better and I can move my hand without tension. He gives me a simple tip for health: water and rest. In the end, the commander says “congratulations” for helping; I shake his hand and I breathe.

After I leave the hospital, I think calmly and I do not hurry. My brain understands one clear thing: it is normal to ask for help. I keep a good spirit, put on my hat because it is cold, and walk slowly. Now the strong pain in my body is gone.

The next day at home, I wake up and do some stretches. I move my hand and arm, then my leg and foot, and my skin feels warmer. In a small space in the living room, I do a gentle jump, stop for a moment, drink water, and take care of my health.

A week later, I go for a short check-up visit. I remember the commander’s mission: to take care of the place and the people. I also have my own mission: to take care of my health every day. With courage, I do something simple and real: I rest and walk a little.
