Interviews de rue à Paris

Today, Nicolas conducts interviews in the streets of Paris for a small local channel. The channel is called Paris Infos. He has a camera, a microphone, and a few questions. He wants to know who the people are, where they live, what they do, and how they are today. He hopes to hear a little about their lives and their day.

It is a beautiful morning. The streets are lively. Many people are heading to work, school, or the market. Near a bus stop in the center of Paris, Nicolas notices a woman in a red coat. She is holding a coffee in her hand and looking at the old buildings. Nicolas walks over with a smile. The camera is ready.

Nicolas says, “Hello, madam. My name is Nicolas. I work for Paris Infos. Today we are asking people in the streets of Paris a few questions. We want to know who they are and how they are doing today. May I ask you a few short questions?”

Victoire answers, “Yes, of course. My name is Victoire. I am twenty-nine years old and I live in Lyon. I am in Paris this week because I am starting a new job at a travel agency. I am visiting the main office. Today I am very happy because everything is new. I am also a little stressed because I want to do my work well. But I am happy, and I already like Paris a lot.”

“That’s great. What work do you do in this new position? Is this your first time in Paris? And after work, what do you want to do?”

“I help organize trips for people who come to France. I speak with clients. I answer emails. I also help prepare their days. This is not my first time in Paris, but I do not know the city very well yet. After work, I want to walk in the center, take photos, and maybe eat in a small bistro.”

“That sounds very good. Thank you very much for speaking with us today. I hope you are going to have a very good time in Paris, and that your new job is going to go well.”
