For my learning, I take small steps and I do not run. Every week I choose something simple: an article, a page from a book, or a short video. I repeat the important words and I try to use them in a sentence. If a subject is difficult, I split it into smaller parts and I continue. Sometimes I do not understand everything, but that is okay. The important thing is to study a little and keep going.

In class I bring my pen, notebook, and book. On the desk I also keep an eraser and a ruler. I write a note for each lesson and mark the new words. The teacher explains a grammar rule and then we do an exercise. If I have a doubt, I ask a question and listen to the answer. At home I use the dictionary and check the example.

At university I attend a course in a large classroom. The professor shows a presentation and writes a list on the board. We take notes and prepare a group project with a short presentation. In the calendar I mark the exam date and the lesson time. In the hallway I meet a classmate and we talk about the work. Before the exam I do a review in the library. Later on I would like to write a simple thesis and get my degree.

For the artistic part I do a drawing workshop. I use paper, pencil, and colour, and I keep the materials in a folder. The teacher gives us a model and we do a practice. Then we look at a painting and we talk about shape and light. In the classroom we also listen to a bit of music to find inspiration. At the end I sign the work and write the title.

In spring there is a book festival in the city centre. In the square I see a stall with many novels, comics, and magazines. In a room there is also a small exhibition of photographs. I buy a ticket for a presentation and I listen to an author talk about his story. I read a poem on a flyer and I copy it into the notebook. I take an autograph and I take a photo of the poster. Then I go home with a bag full of books.

In the evening I go to a concert in a small hall. On the stage there are a piano and a guitar, and nearby there is a microphone. The singer presents a song and the orchestra starts. I listen to the rhythm and I follow the melody carefully. I keep the ticket as a memory and I read the concert program. At the end we give a long applause and the audience leaves happy.

Another time I choose a cinema evening and I watch a documentary about art history. The room is dark and the screen is big. The director shows images of cities and museums, and the voice tells the main facts. I read the subtitles and I understand new words. After the film I talk with a friend about the plot and the scenes. A teacher also recommends a book on the same topic. So culture enters my life.
